To edit your HOSTS file in Vista, open your editor with the 'Run As Administrator' option, then open the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

The first time I went looking for this file, it didn't exist. The second time, it did, but I didn't have permissions. It's rather annoying to get to.

I had the same problem on windows vista ultimae.

I created a second Administrator account from the control panel and copy the programs folder from there.

For those wondering how to remove the "programs" folder from Windows vista start menu is as follows:

1. Go into the properties of the start menu (right click on task bar and then properties)
2. Start menu tab - Customize
3. Untick the "default programs"

I did the same thing and deleted the folder thinking that it was a duplicate

I've had a tummy ache for a little while now. I'm hoping it's just 3 day gas, but it's kinda wierd if it is. I wish I knew more medical knowledge, but I'm also glad I don't. I'd be researching myself till the end of time if I did.
