Look, I hate the Alliance as much as the next undead character, but your Blizzcon closing ceremonies went way too far.

This is supposed to be a family friendly game TO THE POINT where you're not supposed to publicly berate people or face due course. I capitalized to the point since I know some of your developers may disagree since you somewhat recently added the Horde's new Warchief exclaiming that our much loved banshee queen was a derogatory female dog.

In your game you allow us to use a swear filter to protect ourselves from the rudeness of other players - not NPCs, mind you. What happens when it's in real life and it's sanctioned by you? I understand that you thought it was supposed to be funny but making light of people's sexual orientation, etc, due to what banner they wear or what philosophy they have is just dumb.

I have a hard enough time defending the fact that I play this video game to other adults. The last thing I needed was proof that the mentality behind it was low-grade, bottom feeding, vulgar and juvenile.

What I need from you is an actual apology, not a weak forum post saying that slurs of any kind were a joke. What I need from you isn't a shift in blame but a responsible action. It's time to treat your own like you would treat your players: Hand out a ban and make it a good one that reflects the outrage this event has caused.

Like I said, I read the forum post and the chaos that responded to it. I don't see that as a proper way for your company, or any company for that matter, to address this issue. I am certainly not satisfied with it, otherwise I wouldn't have written you in the first place.

Your forum based, cookie cutter statement of an apology does not solve my problem listed in my original question. I would like to know what actions are ongoing in your company to prevent this from ever happening again. If you were to treat your staff like your customer base, then there would have been a few heads that rolled if not at least a temporary ban on someone's account. It really feels like you're fluffing this off and have no intention of any serious actions whatsoever. Please let me know if this is the case so I can act in accordance.

I think that this really upsets me because I believed you to be better than this. I put my faith and money into your company and you've really let me down.

Please note that this took two days in order to get to you and two separate game masters working to 'solve' this problem before I was finally given an email address. I have still not received a serious reply with a satisfactory answer. Saying that, I'm hoping this emailed inquiry will be my last.

Also, to reflect what I was trying to say, there are reports of players receiving three days bans for QUOTING what was said by L90ETC. It really seems like you, as a company, are treating your paying customers with a lot less respect than your staff. As a customer of four years who recommended this game recently to his niece, I cannot find this behaviour acceptable.

I actually had the misfortune to stumble upon statistical data for immigration when researching a business project. I never thought anything could be that dreadfully dry without being called classical literature.

We were just explained what bracketing one's thoughts entitled in class. I can't say that any of us have practiced this skill, but it's handy to look back on.

Scarlet Onslaught was a group in a video game that I had high hopes for. Now, they're nothing more than a discarded plot point that comes back in higher levels with promise of a doomed future.

Also in class I often talk about how we prognose things but never dianose, which leads to my new hit drama/comedy (domedy?) Prognosis: Murder. Each episode we'll prognose this and it will not be so and instead find out that they just popped out for a bite to eat.

I just watched a Python documentary, which might explain this mood.

Wow. I understand that we're a fiercely multicultural country, but please get your co workers to proof read.

I see no need to pursue this any further at this point until next month when the letters will pour in again. I wouldn't say that this is a resolutio, but I believe that it'll be a while before it gets brought up again. I hope not to have a part four but I'll update when I get to remind them next month that I still don't want their spam letter as well as an update when I hear back what actions I can pursue with my MP/MPP/etc.

My address is **************************** in Thunder Bay, Ontario with the postal code of ******. Please note that this is a single dwelling residence. The customer service representatives over the last 6 months have insisted that there were 3+ apartments here at one point but the land registry agent, insurance agent and lawyers that we've talked to in purchasing the house and obtaining the blueprints for said house agree that it has always been registered as a single dwelling. Please update and/or delete your records accordingly as we've been asking for over 6 months.

I could see one piece of mail coming to our house to inform us of your specials, but 3-5 a month is an excess. The fact that this has gone on for over 6 months despite us asking for your help shows me that you as a company truly do not care about customer satisfaction. This shouldn't have gone on for nearly this long and this shouldn't have continued to bother us to this extent. There should have been a solution that you should have provided in a reasonable timeframe. Over 6 months is beyond reasonable.

The CSR I spoke to today told me that there was nothing he could do but put another note on my file. I'm telling you now like I told him today, this is a bad business model because you've been telling us that for over 6 months and it's been completely ineffective. We've also been told numerous times that it's been 'taken care off'. We can only assume this is Shaw's method of brushing off people when they don't want to actually deal with them.

Thank you for being prompt with your email reply. I honestly haven't had correspondence with your help department that meets with my expectations with customer service since I stopped dropping letters off in person to our local kiosk. Please note that I stopped said activity last fall and have not had a phone conversation with your helpline that did not make me irate.

Please help us all solve this problem.

I battle the junk mail of corporations, and I'm sick of it. It's also a battle of customer service... or lack thereof. Again, this is a 6+ month issue. If anyone asks, I highly recommend you do NOT go with this horrible company.

We've been getting letters from Shaw for over 2 years advertising their specials. We stopped being Shaw customers roughly 6 months ago. We've also been calling them for over 6 months telling them to take us off their mailing list. I personally consider this harassment and would like it to stop. They do not since it doesn't have my name on the envelope. The amount of waste it's generating is ridiculous, especially in today's day and age where you hear of these major companies 'going green'.

Calling doesn't do anything and is quite frustrating due to the rudeness of the customer service that my wife and I have received. I have gone in to their kiosk and hand delivered the mail back to them again to no avail as we get 2-4 envelopes a month for our single dwelling household. What can I do, or who can I talk to in order to escalate this issue and actually get it cleared up? For example, can I talk to my MPP/MP/etc? Is there someone from the better business bureau that I can reference with this? Can I actually file harassment charges since this has been going on so long?

If you have time, please help. Thanks.

I've had the Family Guy sketch in my head where he tries to trade Tibet for all the tea in China for a day or so now and I don't know why. One of our classes is done with the respiratory system, so pulmonary everythings are still fresh in my mind, despite my bad spelling. Force Unleashed 2 was just released a little while ago and I hear it's as fun as the first, which is actually pretty high praise. Ford and Zaphod came from a planet in the Betelguese constallation, though I'm hesitant to wager a guess as to which (planet in the vicinity). Finally, we were given wristbands at school which needed to change wrists everytime we complain with the goal to reach 21 days on a single wrist.

As you can tell, my brain is a mess. Where's the empty recycle bin button so I can get some focus?

I had an amazing interview for a student job that I didn't get many moons ago. One of the few questions that I flubbed was 'Who is the current Governor General of Canada?'. I honestly didn't know and was told who it was. As knowledgable as I am to Canadian politics, there's a lot that I don't bother to know. At the end of the interview, the gentleman performing the testing asked, 'Is there any question that you'd like to redo that you don't think you did well on?' In true smart ass fashion I replied, 'I'd like to try that Governor General question again. This time I think I can get it.' 'Nice try.' the man laughed.

Two weeks later I got a call that I was too old to qualify for the funding by 2 weeks and they wished me well. It was pretty disappointing. I don't recall having an interview go as well as that ever again.

This is why we need legislation that actually protects Canadians and doesn't just hand the law over to american companies. This isn't the first time they've tried blatantly lying to try to increase their revenue and it's not going to be the last. AND, there's no bad side to this publicity scheme based on fabrication because getting caught generates even more media buzz. Why shouldn't there be a bad side when companies/corporations blatantly lie and/or try to rip off your constituents?

Dated a girl once who read poetry for a fundraising event. When she realized the majority of the bar wasn't paying attention, she droned 'blah blah blah' loudly on the microphone. Amusingly enough, that got everyone to pay attention. Once she went back to her recital, the crowd somewhat lost interest again. I tried to tell her later that the three words were the best poem of the night and to write more like that. She didn't find my comments as hilarious as I did.

I had a nice halloween. Not that many kids, which means lots of leftover candies. I so like-a the chocolate. If/when I have kids, if it's this nice out on a Saturday Halloween, I'm not waiting till 8pm to start trick or treating the neighbourhood. I'm going at like FOUR when it's not even breezey cold yet.

Dear Subway,

This was the worse customer service I've ever had at a take out. The server, who didn't have a name tag so I couldn't give you his name, didn't try to make eye contact or engage in any kind of conversation. He handled the 'vegetarian' sub after using his hands to poke and rearrange the sweet chicken sub. The veggie patties were quickly cross contaminated as they were microwaved in the same unit as the chicken, both without cover. When asked to mark the sweet chicken sub so that the vegetarian wouldn't open the wrong one by accident, he wrapped up the chicken sub badly so chicken was falling out of the sub. He turned to get a marker which revealed his pants located around his thigh giving the restaurant a full view of his underwear.

I personally don't care how you dress your employees, present them with name tags or make them talk, but please train them not only how to wrap properly so the sub doesn't fall apart but also about cross contamination of food.

I have honestly never been more disgusted with a service chain than now and I will not only tell this story to everyone I know but it will take some severe reparations before I set foot in any of your establishments again.

The moral of the story here should be: Don't expect much from shit joints like Subway.

To edit your HOSTS file in Vista, open your editor with the 'Run As Administrator' option, then open the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

The first time I went looking for this file, it didn't exist. The second time, it did, but I didn't have permissions. It's rather annoying to get to.

I had the same problem on windows vista ultimae.

I created a second Administrator account from the control panel and copy the programs folder from there.

For those wondering how to remove the "programs" folder from Windows vista start menu is as follows:

1. Go into the properties of the start menu (right click on task bar and then properties)
2. Start menu tab - Customize
3. Untick the "default programs"

I did the same thing and deleted the folder thinking that it was a duplicate

let me know if this works out for you...

WORKS. Curse you download.com programs that enable this somehow.

Trying to watch this year's wrestlemania. Wow. It's rough. It's bad when you have a match up with the Hardy boys and it's slow and methodical. Weren't they supposed to be the high flying aspect of the show ? I'm just on the Shawn Michaels v Undertaker match up now.
